Dinakaran in a May 1st, 2010, article claimed that Ranjitha's mother spoke to the Karnataka police and expressed Ranjitha's fear of life if she were to meet (the cops) and give a statement against Nithyananda. The Karnataka cops are said to have assured her that Ranjitha will be given protection. The source of this information is (again) attributed to the police. This news was also carried by TV9 and other news media.
So, what really happened? Ranjitha's mother has not talked to any cops, police or CID. The police will not provide such false information which can easily be verified. Hiding behind 'police sources' to fabricate news does not absolve the reporter or the magazine. Another ratings game being played out...

I have known Ranjitha and she is an extremely disciplined and highly ethical individual. She has survived in this profession for 20yrs without any controversy and will emerge from this one and will make everyone eat their words. Kumudham Reporter should be BANNED for fabricating damaging interviews!
I feel very sorry for ranjitha. Dinakaran,Kumudham and Nakeeran fabricated this issue because not only for rattings but to defame Nithyananda they have used Ranjitha (definitly she is innocent thats why no-one has come for her support), and behind the scene some churches are also there. And these missionaries having some advocates to do these jobs. And for votting purpose, ruling DMK people are also supporting them. Definitly no one from hindu religion should vote for DMK hereafter.
